Family physician Robin Lennox nominated as the NDP candidate in Hamilton Centre

HAMILTON – New Democrats in Hamilton Centre have nominated local family physician and public health advocate Robin Lennox as their NDP candidate in the upcoming provincial election.

“Our community deserves a Premier that’s on our side,” said Lennox. “After seven years, Doug Ford has done nothing to address the housing crisis and left our hospitals overcrowded and underfunded. I’m proud to join Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP to build an Ontario full of opportunities – a province where everyone can find a home, access world class health care, and afford a good life.”

As a primary care provider with a focus on the social determinants of health, Lennox is dedicated to creating a healthier Hamilton. She provides front-line care to the unhoused community and works to combat the overdose crisis.

“I am proud to have Robin on our team,” said Marit Stiles, Leader of the Ontario NDP. “She has a real record of serving marginalized Hamiltonians and making this a safer, stronger community for everyone. Together, we’ll forge a brighter future for the people of Ontario.”
